Evidence & Outcomes

LightBEAM is a lighter touch, evidence-informed adaptation of the BEAM program, and will include Canada-wide recruitment.

Here’s some of the key evidence we’ve gathered from BEAM

  • Mood tracking increased both self-awareness and perceived helpfulness of the program.

  • Parents enrolled in BEAM experienced consistent decreases in depression and anxiety symptoms, sleep problems, and anger.

Mental Health

  • BEAM was developed for parents, in collaboration with parents, and tested in four different studies.

  • When compared to usual services, BEAM contributed to greater reductions in harsh parenting, including conflictual parenting interactions.
